My research concerns applied and fundamental problems in the area artificial intelligence, with a focus on:
decision support for medical diagnosis and drug prescription.
trajectory planning, task planning, failure detection and recovery for robots and computer games.
user modeling, dialogue management, knowledge representation and integrated AI architectures for intelligent tutoring systems.
I am leading a team in the
PLANIART Lab working to find efficient solutions (algorithms and
integration architectures) to the above problems and to integrate them
into major applications.
